I think the main difference between me and most of those I know, has always been-

I actually believe in love. Whereas most people I know have never allowed themselves to; they always see themselves fail, and see others get hurt, and they let that get in the way of their own happiness. Despite any hurt, I've never let myself doubt love.

Coz I think that, no matter what we do, how much we could try to avoid it, or keep ourselves in a certain circle or mentality to prevent it, or deny it to ourselves - love happens anyway. And it's beautiful, so we have to let it be beautiful. I know this because I've found it; and I proved her wrong when she told me in July, how she was scared because love wasn't worth it -

"surely if i lessen the chance of falling for someone - less of a chance to get hurt right!?"
